Job activities will involve researching , developing solutions and supporting the tools and processes to gather detailed user requirements, architecting/developing a solution, and driving strategic planning discussions with technical, business, and client stakeholders.\n \n * Research and development of (functional and technical specifications documents) production and test environments, architecture/design/develop solutions\n * Develop plans for proof of concept and validation of technology/solutions\n * Develop and support the tools and processes to gather detailed user requirements\n * Participate in strategic planning discussions with technical, business, and client stakeholders\n * Identify gaps in processes and services across environments\n * Review programming and environment changes and raise awareness for potential impacts\n * Effective and efficient utilization of programming tools\n * Architect and develop effective solutions that are in line with the organization's vision\n * Actively participate in product design and development sessions\n * Provide direction to less experienced Programmer/Analysts\n * Identify gaps in processes and services across production and test environments\n * Develop architectural diagrams/documents, develop software codes and automated test scripts\n * Write efficient, easy to follow technical documentation\n * Act as liaison between technical and non-technical counterparts\n * Uses AI assistance for common dev tasks (code suggestions, test generation, review support, automation scripts, troubleshooting) with clear ownership for correctness and quality.\n * Applies GenAI in ways that reduce context switching and accelerate delivery across typical workflows (not limited to writing new code).\n * Demonstrates practical familiarity with GitHub Copilot and/or Claude Code within IDE/CLI-style workflows.\n * Working knowledge of agentic workflows, spec-driven development (translating low-level design artifacts such as class structures, API contracts, and data models into structured specs that guide AI-assisted implementation), and custom instructions and prompt engineering, with the ability to establish team-level practices for effective AI-assisted development.\n *\n What you have:\n Required:\n * 3+ years of experience with the following: Java, Spring framework, cloud development, and Web Services (REST, SOAP) supporting high volume transactions in a highly available environment\n * Demonstrated hands-on experience with, GenAI coding assistants used across day-to-day engineering workflows in the SDLC-implementation, refactoring, unit testing, regression support, code reviews, scripting/automation, troubleshooting, and documentation-while applying engineering judgment and validation.\n * Practical familiarity with tools such as GitHub Copilot or Claude Code is expected.\n * 2+ years Prior experience with ETL jobs or data pipeline and messaging frameworks\n * 1+ years of experience with continuous build process using Bamboo, Bitbucket/Git, or similar tools\n * 1+ years of experience with Pivotal Cloud Foundry (PCF), or AWS or GCP.\n * 1+ years' experience working with distributed databases like MongoDB, Aerospike, Yugabyte, PostgreSQL.\n * Demonstrated or hands-on experience with, GenAI coding assistants used across day-to-day engineering workflows\n * Practical familiarity with AI tools such as GitHub Copilot or Claude Code is expected.\n Preferred:\n * 1+ years Prior experience in IT Transformations and system modernization initiatives from legacy to distributed platforms, i.e., Mainframe Cobol apps/DB2 to Java apps/SQL or MongoDB\n * Knowledge of Agile methodology and experience in an Agile working environment\n * Experience with the Atlassian tool stack (JIRA et alia)\n * Experience with .NET framework and programming tools (Visual Studio) and C#\n * Experience in RabbitMQ\n * Experience in Financial Services industry\n * Experience in Test Driven Development\n * Ability to analyze and solve problems creatively\n * Ability to meet deadlines, goals, and objectives\n * Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external
