Clinical Care LVN/LPN Float-{169458} Location: Overland Park, KS 66223 Pay: $37.17/hour Schedule: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, 8:30 AM to 7:00 PM; every third weekend required Overview We are seeking a dependable and patient-focused LVN/LPN Float for a clinical care opportunity in Overland Park, KS . This is a contract role supporting a high-volume retail clinic environment focused on accessible, high-quality patient care. The ideal candidate will be comfortable in a fast-paced setting, confident with immunizations and injections, and able to support both clinical and front-end patient flow responsibilities. Key Responsibilities Administer vaccinations and injections, including influenza, COVID, and TB test placements Obtain vital signs and assist with patient assessments Provide emergency care support in collaboration with the onsite provider when needed Perform patient registration, intake, and checkout Support wait room flow and overall patient experience Conduct patient reminder calls, outreach calls, and appointment scheduling Serve as a chaperone for sensitive exams as needed Prepare the clinic and waiting area for efficient daily operations Deliver evidence-based patient and parent vaccine education and counseling Document accurately within the electronic medical record system Required Skills & Qualifications Active, unrestricted LPN/LVN license BLS certification Minimum of 1 year of related healthcare experience (Primary Care, Urgent Care, or Emergency Room) Prior experience administering immunizations, injections & obtaining vital signs Experience working within an electronic medical record, preferably EPIC Keywords LVN, LPN, Licensed Practical Nurse, Licensed Vocational Nurse, Clinic Nurse, Immunizations, Vaccinations, EPIC, BLS, Patient Care, Vital Signs, Retail Clinic, Urgent Care, Primary Care, Overland Park, Kansas
