This role combines strong software engineering with agentic AI, conversational technologies, API integrations, and cloud-based application development.\n\n*Required Qualifications of the *_*AI Software Engineer :*_\n\n* Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. We are unable to provide sponsorship or work with Third-Party agencies.\n* 5+ years of professional software engineering or application development experience.\n* Strong programming experience in Python, Java, or another commonly used programming language; Python preferred.\n* Hands-on experience developing and integrating APIs, enterprise applications, and scalable software solutions.\n* Experience with AI applications, LLM integrations, agentic AI concepts, tool calling, and AI-powered workflows.\n* Experience with cloud environments, CI/CD pipelines, source control, application architecture, and production deployments.\n* Knowledge of containerization, DevSecOps, observability, and production-readiness practices.\n* Experience working with structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data as well as NoSQL databases.\n* Familiarity with RAG architectures and AI application frameworks such as LangChain or LlamaIndex.\n* Ability to independently troubleshoot technical issues, solve complex problems, and participate in live coding assessments.\n\n*Preferred Skills/Experience of the *_*AI Software Engineer :*_\n\n* Azure cloud development and deployment experience.\n* Healthcare technology experience and knowledge of HIPAA privacy and security requirements.\n* Epic EMR experience, including Epic Hyperspace, Epic APIs, or Epic certification.\n* Experience developing voice agents, conversational AI, or patient-facing AI applications.\n* Experience with patient scheduling, care navigation, patient engagement, or EHR/EMR integrations.\n* Full-stack development experience, including frontend exposure.\n* Familiarity with responsible AI practices such as fairness, bias mitigation, transparency, and explainability.\n\n*Responsibilities of the *_*AI Software Engineer :*_\n\n* Design, build, test, and deploy scalable AI-enabled applications and agentic workflows supporting patient scheduling and engagement.\n* Develop conversational and voice-based AI experiences across phone, SMS, chat, and email channels.\n* Integrate APIs, enterprise platforms, AI services, and data sources to deliver reliable end-to-end applications.\n* Implement LLM, RAG, tool-calling, and AI application frameworks within production solutions.\n* Develop and maintain cloud-based deployment, CI/CD, MLOps, monitoring, and observability capabilities.\n* Collaborate with engineers, architects, data scientists, product managers, and designers to prototype, deliver, evaluate, and continuously improve AI products.\n\n*Work Location:* Remote.
