This role combines employment services, career coaching, job placement, and transition services for youth with disabilities, helping individuals develop the skills, confidence, and connections needed to thrive in the workplace.\n\nWhat We offer:\n\nMedical, Dental, and Vision Plans\nPaid Holidays, Vacation, Sick, and Personal Time\n401(k) Savings Plan\nEmployee Assistance Program\nProfessional Development Opportunities\nEasterseals Cares Wellness Program\nWork-Life Balance\nThe Opportunity to Make a Difference in Your Community\n\nA snapshot of what you'll do:\n\nAssess employment needs, skills, barriers, and career goals, and develop individualized employment plans to support successful employment outcomes.\nProvide career counseling, job readiness training, resume development, interview preparation, workplace etiquette instruction, and employment-related coaching.\nAssist youth and adults with job searches, applications, interview preparation, onboarding, and employment retention services.\nBuild and maintain relationships with employers, community partners, Vocational Rehabilitation, social service agencies, and training providers to expand employment opportunities.\nCoordinate job fairs, recruitment events, career camps, employment skills training, and work-based learning experiences for youth transitioning from school to employment.\nMatch job seekers with appropriate employment opportunities and provide ongoing follow-up and workplace support to promote long-term success.\nDeliver classroom-based and community-based instruction focused on communication skills, self-advocacy, workplace professionalism, problem-solving, and understanding workplace culture.\nMaintain accurate case notes, reports, employment outcome data, and client records while ensuring confidentiality and compliance with Easterseals policies.\n\nQualifications:\n\nAssociate degree and one year of experience working with youth and/or adults with disabilities; or two years of experience working in a vocational services program in lieu of a degree.\nBilingual is a plus!\nMinimum of one year of experience working with adults with disabilities, justice-involved individuals, or individuals experiencing long-term unemployment.\nMust be a Florida resident.\nMust possess a valid Florida driver's license with a clean driving record.\nKnowledge of vocational rehabilitation, youth transition services, employment programs, and workforce development practices.\nStrong interpersonal, communication, public speaking, and relationship-building skills.\nAbility to develop partnerships with employers, community organizations, and service providers.\nStrong organizational, documentation, case management, and report-writing skills.\nKnowledge of local labor market trends, employer needs, and employment resources.\nAbility to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and effectively serve diverse populations experiencing barriers to employment.\nDemonstrated integrity, professionalism, confidentiality, tact, and sound judgment.\nPositive attitude toward individuals with disabilities and commitment to the Easterseals mission, vision, and values.\n\nEasterseals Florida has been rated a Great Place to Work (2020 - 2025) by our employees!
