We are looking for an individual who has a positive attitude, is organized, and can work in a fast-paced professional manufacturing environment.Key ResponsibilitiesAssembly of mechanical partsRiveting techniques, use of tools (tape measure, caliper, micrometer)Final Assembly of cradle, bodyTesting & detail of completed truckAssist with inventory controlAssist other departments as needed (Fabrication, Paint, Set-Up)Support lean and continuous improvement efforts in the facilitySupport and enforce safety requirements and standardsSupport and enforce the professionalism standards established by Midwest Fire managementAdditional duties to be assigned.QualificationsHigh school diploma or GED requiredStrong communication skills; able to work independently and as part of a teamStrong work ethic and mechanical aptitudeExperience in the fire apparatus field, and/or plumbing or electrical assembly a bonus, but not requiredPre-Employment RequirementsSuccessful candidates must complete:Physical examinationBackground checkDrug screeningValid driver’s license verification#hc231472
