This role is critical to optimizing processes, improving cycle times, and ensuring first-time-right execution on the shop floor.\r\nKey Interactions and RelationshipsThis role interacts with the Machining department (milling, turning), EDM departments (Wire, Sinker, and Small Hole EDM), Tooling, Engineering, and Quality departments.\r\nQualificationsTraining and Experience\r\n5+ years of CNC programming experience in a high-precision manufacturing environment\r\nProficiency with CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, Fusion 360, Esprit, or similar)\r\nStrong understanding of G-code/M-code and CNC machine operation\r\nExperience with 3-, 4-, and 5-axis machines (e.g., Haas, Okuma, Mazak, Doosan, or similar)\r\nDeep knowledge of machining principles, tooling, and material properties\r\nAbility to read and interpret complex engineering drawings and GD&T\r\nPreferred Qualifications\r\nKnowledge of post-processing and machine-specific code tuning\r\nHands-on experience towards machining techniques and fundamentals\r\nFamiliarity with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, CATIA)\r\nExperience in aerospace, medical device, or defense manufacturing\r\nEducation, Licenses and Certifications\r\nHigh School Diploma or equivalent\r\nSpecific Job ResponsibilitiesPrimary Routine Work\r\nApply manufacturing knowledge for machining precision parts to produce CNC programs. Candidates must have broad manufacturing/machining knowledge and the ability to establish manufacturing methods for precision machined parts.
