{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"9244f71cdfece4ce79cc6559","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/9244f71cdfece4ce79cc6559","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/9244f71cdfece4ce79cc6559","title":"Learning & Development Specialist","description":"As the Learning and Development Specialist, you will play a visible role in shaping the employee experience at Brooks by designing and delivering learning solutions that support growth, strengthen performance, and advance organizational excellence.The Human Resources Learning and Organizational Development Team designs and delivers strategic, innovative solutions that support organizational priorities, develop leaders and employees, and foster a high-performing culture of engagement, growth, and excellence.Responsibilities:Develop, implement, and sustain system-wide onboarding, continuous learning, and leadership development programs aligned with business strategy, mission, vision, and values.Create engaging learning materials and course content, including tutorials, web-based training, and job aids, using tools such as Articulate, Canva, and Microsoft 365.Research and apply innovative training methods to enhance programs and meet evolving organizational needs.Facilitate learning experiences that support effective curriculum delivery and create an engaging adult learning environment.Apply instructional design principles and adult learning practices across instructor-led and e-learning formats.Use surveys, assessments, evaluations, and performance benchmarks to measure training effectiveness and support continuous improvement.Support career development program logistics and serve as a Learning Coach through one-on-one employee development debriefs.Manage the learning management system (LMS) to support audit readiness, regulatory compliance, data integrity, and vendor licensing requirements.Monitor and maintain compliance and development training records to ensure employees complete new hire and annual mandatory requirements.Serve as the LMS technical subject matter expert and provide end-user support, including enrollment and learning deployment across clinical and support services teams.Partner with HR and clinical teams to evaluate learning technologies, recommend solutions, and identify future development opportunities.Support employee engagement initiatives through survey administration, data analysis, and facilitation of monthly new hire feedback roundtables with the Executive Team.Collaborate across HR to support strategic initiatives that contribute to the growth of the department and organization.Build strong partnerships by communicating clearly, identifying needs, managing expectations, and providing timely updates to stakeholders.Requirements:Bachelor's degree in human resources, training and development, educational technology, instructional design, or a related field preferred3+ years of experience in training, learning, organizational development, or a related fieldExperience supporting LMS operations, enterprise learning platforms, or e-learning programsWorking knowledge of Microsoft 365 applications, including Teams, PowerPoint, Excel, and FormsExperience with course authoring tools such as Articulate, Camtasia, Adobe Captivate, or similar platforms to create visually engaging learning materialsKnowledge of instructional design models and learning theories across multiple delivery methodsAbility to write effective learning content and audio scripts and develop e-learning modulesFacilitation experience in in-person, virtual, or blended learning environments preferredCoaching or employee development support experience is a plusDemonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, timelines, expectations, and deliverables from planning through execution with strong attention to detailAbility to work independently and collaboratively in a team environmentStrong written and verbal communication skillsLocation: 3599 University Blvd South, Jacksonville, Florida 32216.
