{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"923e1a2dfd6d1ada81be4a02","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/923e1a2dfd6d1ada81be4a02","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/923e1a2dfd6d1ada81be4a02","title":"Plant Operator","description":"Plant OperatorSalary Range: $27.00 - $30.00 Hourly\r\nLevel: Experienced\r\nPosition Type: Full Time\r\nJob Shift: Any\r\nEducation Level: High School\r\nTravel Percentage: None\r\nCategory: Skilled Labor - Trades\r\nDescriptionDuties and Responsibilities\r\nMonitoring equipment, making adjustments to process controls, taking routine readings, performing preventive and minor maintenance, troubleshooting operational problems, and handling paperwork associated with regulatory permitting in order to improve plant system operation/uptime and reduce total operating costs.\r\nQualificationsRequired Qualifications\r\nAt least High School grad or G.E.D.\r\n3+years preferred with a responsible attitude for personal safety and the safety of co-workers, contractors & the public.\r\nAbility to work 12 hour, rotating shifts.\r\nBasic knowledge of plant processes.\r\nBasic knowledge of OSHA 1910.119.\r\nKnowledge of technical math skills.\r\nCapable of performing preventive maintenance and minor repairs on all required plant equipment.\r\nAbility to efficiently and effectively monitor plant equipment and make adjustments to processes and controls.\r\nAbility to troubleshoot operational problems.\r\nAbility to handle upsets, startups, and shutdowns to plant systems and processes\r\nKnowledge of DCS systems (Delta V).\r\nAbility to perform lab tests such as cooling tower and R/O unit water tests and SRU chemical tests.\r\nAbility to work effectively in a team environment.\r\nAbility to manage multiple responsibilities/priorities simultaneously.\r\nMust meet established CNR's goals and work standards.\r\nGood computer skills, along with ability to input data into excel format.\r\nGood communication and excellent interpersonal skills.\r\nPhysical Demands\r\nThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Ability to perform heavy manual labor, frequently lifting up to 75 pounds and occasionally up to 100 pounds with the assistance of applicable equipment or other employees. Ability to meet color and peripheral vision requirements. Must be able to work from heights with the assistance of proper safety equipment.
