Receptionist - Family Practice

DescriptionResponsible for patient registration. Insurance verification. Receives incoming calls. Accurately takes messages for clinical staff. Schedules, cancels and/or reschedules appointments. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.Must be able to remain professional and friendly under pressure. Must be able to multi-task and handle a large amount of incoming calls. Must possess excellent computer skills and type by touch.Works under immediate supervision. Primary job functions do not typically require exercising independent judgment. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager.RequirementsOne to three years experience in a medical office setting is preferred but not required.Bilingual in Spanish is preferred but not required.
