We are currently seeking an experienced Structural Design Engineer to join our Tempe, Arizona office.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities Perform detailed structural design, analysis, engineering calculations, and assist in the development of construction drawings and specifications for Water/Wastewater projects\nConduct structural investigations and assist in the preparation of reports and cost estimates\nPerform routine engineering assignments requiring application of standard techniques and procedures\nComplete projects with clear, specified objectives and limited variables\nWork independently on small projects or assist senior engineers on larger projects\nGive direction to clerical and technical personnel as needed\nRequirements Bachelors or Masters degree in Civil or Architectural Engineering with Structural emphasis\nEIT certification or ability to obtain\nMicrosoft Office, Mathcad, TEDDS or similar analytical software experience\nSAP2000, STAAD or similar Finite Element software analysis experience\nAutoCAD, Revit or similar detailing and drawing production experience\nAbility to work in a team environment with the work involving studies, detailed design and engineering services during construction for a wide variety of projects\nPossess analytical and organizational skills to support multiple projects at a time\nAbility to learn, listen, adapt, and take ownership of work\nAttention to detail, self-directed learning, and meeting deadlines\nStrong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to coordinate work with other disciplines and production staff\nWillingness to try new things and be forward thinking, with a creative and innovative approach to engineering\nBenefits The comprehensive benefits plan offered by Wilson Engineers exceeds industry standards, and is aimed at meeting each employee's personal and professional expectations.
