The Project Engineer will play a critical role in maintaining accuracy, consistency, and flow across all project phases in fast-paced, high-performance environments.\n\nThis position begins with a strong focus on structural steel execution and is structured to expand into broader, multi-discipline responsibilities over time, providing a clear pathway for professional growth into project management and program leadership roles.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nMaintain a comprehensive document control system to ensure all drawings, specifications, RFIs, submittals, and revisions are current and properly distributed for design, fabrication, and field execution.\n\nPerform quantity takeoffs and assist with cost estimating for structural steel components, materials, and labor to support bids, budgets, and change orders.\n\nCollaborate with Project Managers and cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues during design development, fabrication, erection, and commissioning phases.\n\nSupport project scheduling by analyzing critical path activities, dependencies, and resource requirements to help maintain aggressive hyperscale delivery timelines.\n\nPrepare technical documentation including submittals, shop drawing packages, as-built documentation, and project reports in accordance with quality and compliance standards.\n\nTrack project progress and assist in identifying risks, delays, and coordination issues, providing solutions to maintain schedule and budget alignment.\n\nSupport continuous improvement initiatives by researching and implementing tools, processes, and technologies that enhance steel engineering and construction execution.\n\nAssist in coordination between engineering, procurement, fabrication, and field teams to ensure seamless project delivery.\n\nQualifications\n\nBachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.\n\n3+ years of relevant experience supporting structural steel projects in industrial or data center environments.\n\nStrong understanding of structural steel detailing, fabrication, erection, and building systems.\n\nExperience with document control, RFIs, submittals, quantity takeoffs, and change management processes.\n\nFamiliarity with scheduling tools, BIM workflows, and construction/project management software (Primavera P6, Procore, or similar).\n\nStrong technical writing, analytical, and organizational skills.\n\nDetail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environments.\n\nEagerness and ability to grow into broader project and technical leadership responsibilities.\n\nKnowledge, Skills & Abilities\n\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to support resolution of
