You will be responsible for layout, installation, repairing, finishing, and maintaining various structures and fixtures in residential buildings. This role will install cabinets, shelving, drywall and insulation while also adding fixtures and fittings such as door handles, locks and hinges. A successful laborer should be hardworking, reliable, and be detail oriented.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities:\nOperate a variety of hand and power tools.\nInspect places and conduct general repairs or maintenance.\nClean and prepare construction sites as needed\nAbility to erect scaffolding, fencing, and ladders\nRemove and properly dispose of debris and waste materials\nDigging trenches along with other site requirements\nMove materials and equipment to and from construction areas.\nFollow all safety procedures on the job site, including all PPE requirements, and report violations immediately to management.\nMaintain a safe and clean job site by handling materials and storing them properly, picking up and removing all tools and equipment when not in use, and securing the job site on a daily basis.\nLoad and unload construction supplies from trucks both manually and with the use of equipment.\nReport incidents immediately to safety, foreman, or project manager in accordance with incident reporting procedures established by the company.\nTravel out of town to work on remote job sites as directed by management.\nRead blueprints, drawings and sketches to fully grasp requirements.\nTake measurements and calculate the size and amount of material needed.\nReplace plumbing fixtures and light fixtures.\nOther duties as needed.\nQualifications:\nHigh school diploma\nProven experience as construction laborer\nProficient in using electrical and manual equipment and measurement tools (powered saws, hammers, rulers etc.)\nWillingness to always follow safety guidelines.\nStrong understanding of basic math.\nValid driver’s license required.\nAbility to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds\nAbility to bend, climb, squat, reach, and kneel\nPAY & BENEFITS\nConstruction Laborer pay range: $18 - $22 per hour\nActual pay depends on education, experience, and performance\nBenefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, and Paid Time Off\nSevan Multi-Site Solutions, Inc. is proud to be an equal opportunity employer committed to a diverse and inclusive work environment.
