This role is responsible for creating and improving CNC process steps through CNC programming, set-up and prove out. Collaboration with cross-functional teams within EMS is a critical element of this role.\n\nResponsibilities\n\nCollaborate with Engineering to develop CNC processes while developing special tooling and fixturing.\nUtilize CAD/CAM software (such as Mastercam) to develop CNC programs for new products and improve existing processes.\nCollaborate with Engineering, Quality and Operations to determine the Process Development timeline – including machine availability.\nDevelop the set-up process/documentation to ensure seamless transfer to Operations and ensure minimal changeover cycles.\nEnsure process is successful through quality, time and cost expectations prior to handing over to Operations.\nManage DNC files within the Customer DMR ensuring accessibility and security.\nContributes to project milestone completion and failure to achieve results or erroneous recommendations may cause delays in project commitments and erode Customer confidence.\nSupport the EMS Quality Policy and Objectives governed by FDA regulations & ISO 13485 requirements.\nPerforms other job duties as assigned.\n\nRequirements\n\nA minimum of a High School diploma or general education degree (GED) with 3+ years of relevant manufacturing experience required or an equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred. 1+ years of programming experience is required.\nMust demonstrate experience using at least one of the CNC Programming software, such as Mastercam, Part-maker or Esprit.\nMust demonstrate a strong technical knowledge of CNC machining capabilities, tooling and fixture design and setup optimization.\nMust demonstrate the ability to collaborate in a team environment – value other’s ideas and experience.\nMust demonstrate ability to solve problems of various technical complexity.\nMust exhibit good communication skills (verbal and written) including effective interactions with personnel within and outside the organization.\nWorks well under pressure, organized and able to attain results on several projects simultaneously.\nExperience understanding proper documentation/quality requirements for a regulated environment.\nMust be able to speak, read and write in the English language.\nAbility to bend, stoop, grip, reach and lift up to 40 lbs.\n\nSearch Firm Representatives Please read carefully\n\nEMS is not accepting unsolicited assistance from search firms for our current employment opportunities.
