This role provides Level 3 (L3) support for network operations, encryption devices, and secure communications systems while ensuring network availability, security, and compliance with DoD standards and policies.\nResponsibilities:\n\nAdminister, operate, and maintain enterprise network infrastructure and KMI systems.\nServe as an Alternate KMI Account Manager and support Key Management Operating Account Management (KOAM) activities.\nInstall, configure, and maintain network encryption devices and secure communications equipment.\nMonitor and troubleshoot network performance, connectivity, and security issues.\nSupport routers, switches, firewalls, and network management systems.\nConfigure and maintain network services including DHCP, 802.1X, MAC Authentication Bypass (MAB), and TFTP.\nSupport secure voice communication systems and inline network encryptors.\nUtilize network monitoring and management tools, including SolarWinds, to identify and resolve operational issues.\nMaintain network documentation, diagrams, configurations, and operational procedures.\nCollaborate with cybersecurity, systems administration, and engineering teams to ensure secure and reliable network operations.\nEnsure compliance with applicable DoD, organizational, and security policies and procedures.\nQualifications:\nMinimum of five (5) years of experience in network administration and IT infrastructure support.\nMinimum of three (3) years of Key Management Infrastructure (KMI) experience.\nMinimum of two (2) years of experience serving as a Local Element supporting a KMI account.\nActive Top Secret clearance with TS/SCI eligibility.\nExperience installing, operating, and configuring network encryption equipment and secure communications systems.\nExperience supporting enterprise IP networks, including routers, switches, firewalls, and network services.\nKnowledge of network technologies including T1, DS3, Fiber/Optical, DSL, Ethernet, and related transport technologies.\nExperience with SolarWinds, DHCP, MAB, 802.1X, TFTP, and secure voice systems.\nStrong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.\nKey Management Operating Account Management (KOAM) Course required.\nDoD 8570 IAT Level II certification (Security+ or equivalent) required.\nAbility to obtain and maintain all required baseline and technical certifications supporting Level 3 (L3) Network Operations.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nCisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) certification.\nExperience supporting large Federal Government, DoD, or Department of Navy environments.\nFamiliarity with network security architectures and encrypted communications systems.\nExperience supporting classified network environments.\nKnowledge of virtualization technologies and enterprise infrastructure operations.\nSalary Disclosure:\nActual salary will be based on a variety of factors including but not limited to experience, geographic location, contract affordability, internal equity, education, and certifications.
