The Analyst, supports our client reporting efforts and is responsible for the collection and analysis of real estate sustainability data across multiple portfolios. This role is expected to develop a deep understanding of the material reporting frameworks and requirements.\nThe Analyst, Sustainability includes cross-functional involvement with many aspects of the Bellwether real estate platform, our clients and external parties, providing opportunities for professional growth. This is a unique opportunity to work in a thriving industry and make an impact on the environment and community.\nKey Responsibilities\nHelp execute sustainability strategies and initiatives on behalf of clients;\nGather, consolidate and analyze data and metrics that track progress and performance of clients’ sustainability programs globally across various funds;\nDevelop and implement processes for organizing large-scale datasets to gain insights that support business decisions;\nAssist in the production of high quality, accurate and timely reports to clients;\nLiaise with consultants, clients and work closely with asset and property management teams to ensure quality and consistency of data ;\nDevelop strong working knowledge of available data sources, including expertise in the utilization and interpretation of sustainability-related data;\nTrack market trends and implement emerging tools to streamline workflows; and\nPerform additional ad-hoc analyses, as needed.\nProfessional Experience\nA minimum of 1 year of relevant experience\nExperience in Microsoft Office Suite\nDeep interest in sustainability and the commercial real estate industry\nEducation/Certification\nA bachelor's degree in Environmental Science/Engineering, Sustainability, Environmental Studies, Sustainability Management, Business, Data Science or a related field\nAn advanced degree in similar field is beneficial/ preferred\nSustainability credential/certificate preferred (e.g. LEED, GRI, SASB or similar)\nEssential Skills & Competencies\nBellwether seeks to hire entrepreneurial individuals who are highly motivated, mature and intelligent, with demonstrated excellence in prior endeavors.
