The ideal candidate will be in the metro New York, New Jersey, or Chicago area to allow for regular in-office presence. This role is considered hybrid, offering flexibility in work arrangements but the expectation will be that an office visit will be required multiple times a week.\nAbout the Position: The PCS Operations Analyst is a member of the operations team responsible for processing core functions including, but not limited to:\nAnswering calls from high net-worth clients and brokers and resolving issues\nNew business quoting for prospective clients\nNew business policy and endorsement issuance\nOverall support of Private Client Select clients through phone and e-mail correspondence\nJob Functions and Responsibilities\nThe ideal candidate for this position:\nDemonstrates strong customer service skills with a focus on achieving team service level goals\nDemonstrates the ability to handle phone calls/inquires and associated research for call resolution\nAbility to review quote requests, interpret underwriting reports, enter application data into quoting systems and prepare quotations for review by underwriter or agent\nAbility to review bind request forms, examine original quotes for accuracy, make changes as necessary and issue policies per agent’s request and underwriter’s instruction\nKnowledgeable on the quote to bind process– if necessary, creates quotes that are representative of coverage, premiums, etc. that are referenced on bind requests\nKnowledgeable on endorsement processing – ability to make policy changes per agent or underwriter requests in accordance with client service authority guidelines\nAbility to review quote requote request, order applicable underwriting reports quote changes per agent or underwriter request and release to underwriter or agent based on authority\nAbility to handle VIP or special handling accounts\nDemonstrate the ability to achieve time service standards as outlined for particular role/function\nDemonstrate the ability to achieve quality objectives as outlined for particular role/function\nDemonstrates the interest and ability to become cross trained on other functions\nDemonstrates the ability to function as a Subject Matter Expert and side by side coach to new hires\nDemonstrates the ability to monitor call queues\nMaintain and organize written materials, updates to strategies and state-specific changes to stay knowledgeable\nKnowledgeable on organizational structure and associated workflows\nJob Requirements\nEducation and Experience:\nBachelor’s degree preferred\nA minimum of 2+ years insurance experience preferred\nSkills:\nCuriosity and mindset of a commitment to continuous learning and growth\nCritical thinking and innovative problem-solving\nAgile adaptability to change and demonstrated results focus\nStrong knowledge of P&C industry and products\nDemonstrate the ability to deliver “Best in Class” service\nStrong organizational and analytical skills\nStrong written and verbal communication skills\nStrong attention to quality with an emphasis on details\nStrong independent problem solving and analytical skills\nAbility to conduct relationship building and competent interpersonal skills\nDemonstrate a strong working knowledge of MS Word and MS Excel software and a strong aptitude for PC and internet usage\nAbility to work in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment\nEqual Employment Opportunity Policy\nPCS values and is fully committed to diversity and inclusion.
