Leasing Agent Upland, CA We are a privately owned offsite property management company, managing homes, condos, townhomes and apartment buildings in the San Gabriel Valley, Pomona Valley and Inland Empire. Established in 1997, we have two offices with our corporate office in Upland. We have an immediate opening for a Leasing Agent. We are seeking a team player – hard worker, self starter with a friendly and outgoing personality & professional appearance. Must have EXCELLENT listening, speaking, interpersonal and social skills. Must be bilingual English/Spanish and must carry a valid California Drivers License in good standing. With our growth history, there is tremendous opportunity to learn and grow with the company. Duties of the Leasing Agent include but are not limited to: · Handle all incoming inquiries, scheduling appointments, confirming appointments, and following up on showings - all for available properties for lease · Showing vacant units – driving to and from appointments in company vehicle – lots of driving involved · Accepting, preparing & following up on all incoming applications · Conducting pre-move-in inspections & making small repairs · Assisting Broker, Property Managers and Maintenance Department with any day to day tasks as directed. Ideal candidate must be energetic, a quick thinker, able to multi-task, a good driver, good with time management all with ability to thrive in a fast paced environment, stay calm and be organized. Minimum Requirements: · Mandatory: 2 years Minimum in Property Management as a leasing agent, property manager, onsite manager · Mandatory: Knowledge of local Freeways – there is a lot of driving in a company provided car. · Mandatory: Ability to lift and carry at least 35 lbs and climb/balance on a step stool. · Mandatory: Knowledge of basic home skills, small repairs and knowledge & use of basic tools to complete tasks such as pre-move in inspections, installing smoke and carbon detectors, programming sprinkler controls, changing light bulbs etc. · Mandatory: Knowledge of basic landlord/tenant guidelines. · Helpful: Knowledge of Appfolio Property Management Software and California Association of Realtor forms · Knowledge of basic landlord/tenant guidelines. Additional Details · Location: Upland, CA. · Hours: 9:00am to 5:30pm - Monday thru Friday · 40 hours per week, $21.00-$23.00 per hour depending on experience · Benefits: Medical & Paid Holidays after 3 months, Accrue up to 4 sick days annually, One week paid vacation after 1 year. · A company car is provided for all company related appointments.
