Maintenance Mechanic

This is a full-time, 40 hour per week position. Your Role: The Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for the safe and reliable operation, installation, maintenance, and repair of a variety of building components of the physical plant. Working under the direction of the Facilities Management Supervisor, the Maintenance Mechanic performs work in a safe neat workman-like manner, with special attention paid to the environment of patient care. Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs): Education: High school education preferred. Post secondary education in building construction preferred. License/Certifications: Valid Maine driver’s license. Obtain a valid High Pressure Boiler Operator’s License within one year of employment – required for On-Call Experience: 3-5 years minimum experience in the construction trade or hospital field.
