Using your strong operational knowledge, you will oversee employee training, daily supervision, and ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.\n\nThis position is based in Stanley, ND.\nThe Team:\nThe team at our Stanley Waste Processing Facility is committed to working safely, supporting one another, and delivering exceptional service to our customers. As the Operations Supervisor, you'll lead a team that values accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement while fostering a culture that reflects SECURE's commitment to safety and operational excellence.\nWork Environment:\nThe Operations Supervisor role is a full-time, salaried position, working 5 days per week, with on-call availability required to support operational needs.\nA Day in The Life:\nLeading the day-to-day activities of operations and the operations staff\nServing as a people leader by setting clear expectations, managing operator performance, and providing feedback to develop high-performing teams in alignment with SECURE’s values and expectations.\nCompleting progressions and performance reviews with the operators\nAccessible and available to the operators to assist with afterhours issues\nFostering an environment that promotes the Vision and Culture of the organization\nLeading the safety culture, specifically aiding in the development and delivery of programs and initiatives\nEnsuring compliance with safety practices and procedures\nEnsuring consistent, cost-effective, and technically sound operations\nDeveloping and implementing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and ensuring that they are being upheld through training, coaching and leadership oversight\nEnsuring compliance with all government and environmental regulatory standards\nEnsuring excellent customer service standards\nEvaluating Key Performance Indicators to achieve targets and determine required actions for improvement\nCollaborating with other Operations Leaders (Facility Managers, General Managers) and Support teams to share and implement best practices\nPlays a critical role in supporting the Facility Manager including taking on delegation duties from Facility Manager when applicable and collaborating with support groups\nSkills, Experience & Qualifications:\nGrade 12 or General Education Diploma (GED) education\nA valid and acceptable Driver’s license and successful completion of Pre-employment testing\nA minimum of 5 years’ experience in one or more of the following: waste processing, oil treating and/or water injection, landfill operations (specific to landfills), or relative industry experience\nValid industry safety tickets\nProficient with company applications and Microsoft office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OSI PI, Power BI, MOC, Sharepoint, Certify, Open Invoice, UltiPro, iTRAK and Solver)\nAbility to work independently, make sound decisions, and perform in a fast-paced environment\nStrong attention to detail and ability to provide effective leadership and guidance to staff\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to prepare technical reports\nWhat's in it for you:\nAt SECURE, we prioritize growth and improvement for our employees, customers, partners, and communities.
