As well as supports the warehouse areas by shipping/receiving products, loading and unloading product as well as operates a company truck as a backup driver who delivers product to our customers. Assists in other areas of the warehouse and division as needed.\nJob requires walking 50% of the time.\nExperience with scanners, forklifts, working in teams and following safety protocol preferred\nAbility to read, write and speak English fluently\nMust be able to lift 50lbs\nOpportunity for extra hours as a driver - CDL Preferred\n\nRequirements:\n\nPRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES\nReceive daily orders pick list, pull order and load quartz slabs on truck for delivery.\nUnload/load containers in a timely and safe manner.\nOperate forklift as needed.\nAssist customers in a friendly manner.\nMaintain and organize warehouse/yard.\nFamiliar with a variety of industry concepts, practices and procedures.\nAssist with product order filling as needed.\nFollow all safety rules.\nADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES\nAbility to think independently.\nAbility to work with technical and industry personnel.\nKnowledge of warehouse/shipping and receiving functions.\nAbility to safely drive forklift.\nAbility to establish and maintain effective relationships with employees, supervisors and the general public.\nKNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS\nMust have a high school diploma or GED.\nMust have a clear driving record.\n+1 years similar warehouse experience.\nTechnical training or equivalent experience (minimum 2 years of relevant work experience).\nExcellent multi-tasking, organization and documentation skills.\nGood verbal and written communication skills.\nBasic computer skills.\nDemonstrated competency in the use of hand tools and other industry related equipment.\nDemonstrated ability to read drawings and work to written procedures.\nMust be able to operate a forklift. Forklift certification preferred.\nMust be able to lift 50 lbs.\nWORKING CONDITIONS\nThis position may require extended work hours.\nThis position may require work in hot and cold temperatures, warehouse environment, and working in close to proximity to other teammates.\nA warehouse and distribution center environment.
