This role is ideal for a leader who thrives in a fast-paced production environment, enjoys developing employees, and is comfortable making decisions independently while driving safety, quality, and operational performance.\n\nThe successful candidate will play a critical role in leading daily operations, supporting continuous improvement efforts, and helping build a strong culture of accountability, teamwork, and employee engagement.\n\nWhat You'll Do\n\nLead all 2nd shift manufacturing operations and production activities.\nEnsure a safe working environment and compliance with company policies and procedures.\nDrive production performance, quality standards, and on-time delivery goals.\nMonitor and improve key performance indicators (KPIs), including productivity, efficiency, utilization, scrap, and rework.\nCoach, mentor, and develop production employees.\nConduct employee training, performance discussions, and safety meetings.\nSupport staffing, employee engagement, and workforce development initiatives.\nTroubleshoot operational issues and implement corrective actions.\nCollaborate with Quality, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Operations teams.\nMaintain accountability for shift performance and facility operations.\nServe as the primary leadership presence on 2nd shift.\nStep in and assist employees when business needs require a hands-on leadership approach.\n\nWhat We're Looking For\n\nRequired Qualifications\n\nManufacturing, production, or operations leadership experience.\nExperience leading teams in a manufacturing environment.\nStrong understanding of safety, production, and continuous improvement principles.\nExperience managing KPIs and operational performance metrics.\nStrong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.\nAbility to lead independently and make sound decisions.\nFlexibility to support business needs and changing priorities.\n\nPreferred Qualifications\n\nBachelor’s degree in engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, or a related field.\nExperience with Lean Manufacturing tools such as:\nValue Stream Mapping (VSM)\n6S\nSMED\nFMEA\nContinuous Improvement methodologies\nUnderstanding of CNC machining environments.\nExperience in industrial manufacturing, machining, fabrication, welding, pumps, valves, aerospace, or similar industries.\nFamiliarity with ISO quality systems.\nAbility to speak Polish or Ukrainian is a plus.\n\nLeadership Traits for Success\n\nWe're looking for someone who is:\n\nTrustworthy and accountable\nSelf-motivated\nAdaptable and open to change\nComfortable leading diverse teams\nResilient under pressure\nA strong communicator\nA hands-on servant leader willing to support the team when needed\n\nWork Environment\n\nThis position supports a growing 2nd shift operation and will oversee a team of approximately 5-20 employees.
