The ideal candidate is experienced and confident building out performant, impactful data models, and thrives in a collaborative environment where they can influence product and business decisions through data.In this role, you willArchitect complex, high-volume data pipelines for production useDesign and implement scalable data models serving multiple product and internal teamsOwn data quality frameworks and standards across key data productsBuild reusable patterns for transformations and metrics to drive efficiencyDefine and maintain core business metrics and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) in partnership with AnalyticsOwn the data products used across the company, ensuring reliability and performanceSet and promote standards for data modeling and pipeline developmentPartner closely with Analytics, Data Science, and Machine Learning teams on requirements to reduce friction and accelerate their workMentor engineers and actively participate in the hiring processQualifications5+ years of experience in data engineering with a proven track record of successful data product development and oversightExpert SQL and strong Python programming skillsDeep expertise in dbt or similar transformation frameworksStrong data modeling experience across dimensional, activity schema, and similar patternsHands-on experience with data quality frameworks and performance tuning of data processesExperience implementing both batch and streaming data processing patternsStrong product thinking and stakeholder management skillsExcellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively across teamsWe may use artificial intelligence (AI) tools to support parts of the hiring process, such as reviewing applications, analyzing resumes, or assessing responses.
