Join us and design your place with Stantec.\r\nYour OpportunityThe Project Controls Coordinator plays a pivotal role in supporting the project team by facilitating project setup, managing resources and overseeing document control processes. This position is instrumental in driving project execution while upholding the highest standards of quality and operational efficiency.\r\nYour ResponsibilitiesCollaborate closely with the Project Controls Professional Team on all aspects of the project.\r\nActively participate in the development of contracts, subconsultant documents, internal work orders and certificates of insurance.\r\nAssist Project Managers with HSSE (Health Safety Security and Environmental) Compliance.\r\nSupport Project Managers with submittals and RFIs.\r\nGenerate reports as needed to support project progress and decision-making.\r\nResource Project Management data entry and reporting\r\nYour Capabilities and CredentialsSelf-motivated individual with a strong work ethic, capable of prioritizing and communicating to multiple groups.\r\nWork well with others to achieve team results.\r\nMust thrive working assertively in a deadline-driven environment.\r\nMust be proactive.\r\nExcellent written and verbal communications.\r\nAbility to multi-task, manage time, organize, and set priorities and make timely decisions.\r\nPossess strong problem solving and analytical skills, including attention to detail.\r\nPositive attitude, with the ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships.\r\nMust be proficient in MS Office skills.\r\nPrior work in project controls / project assistant role is a plus.\r\nArchitecture/Engineering/Construction industry experience preferred.\r\nEducation and ExperienceTwo-year business or related degree preferred with minimum of 1-year appropriate course work in project management, accounting, finance, or business preferred.\r\nExperience performing financial analysis, cost management, scheduling and other project controls functions over the life of a project is desired.\r\nThis description is not a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that may be required of the employee and other duties, responsibilities and activities may be assigned or may be changed at any time with or without notice.\r\nAbout StantecStantec is a global leader in sustainable engineering, architecture, and environmental consulting.
