As a Senior Cloud Engineer / Software Developer on this team, you will write the production-grade Python code and APIs, running in AWS and Azure, that power the platform’s enterprise AI services, with significant, visible impact on the mission of the USCC.\n\nWhat You'll Be Doing:\n\nProvide embedded operations support, capability integration, and rapid prototyping for AI-enabled tools in support of our customer.\n\nDesign, develop, and integrate enterprise-grade, production Python code and applications in cloud environments (AWS, Microsoft Azure).\n\nDevelop robust and scalable APIs and microservices to support the AI Enterprise platform’s model gateway, tool broker, and knowledge services.\n\nArchitect and manage CI/CD pipelines for continuous integration and continuous delivery of AI applications and services.\n\nImplement and maintain secure, efficient, and scalable cloud infrastructure for AI solutions.\n\nCollaborate with AI/ML engineers and data scientists to streamline development processes and ensure seamless integration of AI capabilities.\n\nEnsure the reliability, performance, and security of production AI applications.\n\nContinuously research and implement new cloud engineering tools and practices to enhance efficiency and capabilities.\n\nDocument architecture, processes, and configurations, and support security accreditation (RMF/ATO) of production systems.\n\nMinimum Qualifications:\n\nBachelor's degree in a relevant technical field with 10 years of experience, or Master's degree in a relevant technical field with 8 years of experience\n\nActive TS/SCI clearance w/Poly\n\nAdvanced proficiency in Python for production-grade application development\n\nDemonstrated expertise in API development and integration\n\nProven experience in architecting and managing CI/CD pipelines\n\nExtensive experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Microsoft Azure) for software development and infrastructure management\n\nDesired Qualifications:\n\nFamiliarity with containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)\n\nAbility to translate complex technical concepts into actionable engineering solutions, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills\n\nExposure to AI/Machine Learning concepts and their implications for software development\n\nExperience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible)\n\nAWS or Microsoft Azure certification, and continuous learning mindset to stay abreast of cutting-edge cloud engineering and AI advancements\n\nSecurity Clearance Requirement:\n\nAn active Top Secret SCI w/Polygraph security clearance is required for this position.\n\nThis position is part of our Federal Solutions team.\n\nThe Federal Solutions segment delivers resources to our US government customers that ensure the success of missions around the globe.
