This role will serve as the primary technical owner responsible for integrating engineering, manufacturing, production, quality, and business systems within a secure defense-focused environment.\n\nThis hands-on individual contributor role will serve as the primary technical owner of Aegis’ future secure collaboration and operational platform environment, supporting integration between engineering, manufacturing, production, quality, and business systems within a defense-focused environment\n\nThe ideal candidate will combine secure infrastructure knowledge, enterprise systems integration experience, and platform administration capability to help improve operational workflows, collaboration, and data visibility across the organization. This role requires both strategic technical thinking and day-to-day hands-on platform administration and support\n\nThis position is based in beautiful mountaims of Western North Carolina, Murphy, NC. Relocation assistance provided .\n\nResponsibilities\n\nDesign, deploy, administer, and maintain secure intranet and collaboration platforms\n\nIntegrate enterprise systems including engineering, manufacturing, ERP/MRP, quality, and operational systems\n\nSupport secure authentication, RBAC, Active Directory, LDAP, and SSO integration\n\nAdminister Linux-based environments and containerized applications\n\nSupport CI/CD pipelines, system monitoring, backups, and platform reliability\n\nDevelop secure APIs, workflows, and system integrations\n\nProvide hands-on troubleshooting, platform support, and system administration\n\nMinimum Qualifications\n\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, Software Engineering, or related technical field.\n\n5+ years of experience in secure platform architecture, enterprise systems integration, DevSecOps, infrastructure engineering, or related technical roles.\n\nExperience administering Linux server environments.\n\nExperience with enterprise web platforms, internal collaboration systems, or secure intranet environments.\n\nExperience integrating enterprise systems and supporting cross-functional operational workflows\n\nExperience with containerization technologies such as Docker or Podman.\n\nFamiliarity with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation concepts.\n\nPreferred Qualifications\n\nExperience within defense, aerospace, manufacturing, or highly regulated industries.\n\nFamiliarity with air-gapped or highly secure operational environments.\n\nExperience supporting secure software development and DevSecOps initiatives.\n\nUnderstanding of cybersecurity frameworks such as NIST, CMMC, or STIG requirements.\n\nExperience with enterprise workflow automation and operational digitalization initiatives.\n\nExposure to ERP/MRP, PLM, MES, or manufacturing systems integration.\n\nFamiliarity with modern enterprise collaboration platforms and secure web technologies.\n\nBenefits\n\nMedical, Dental, Vision insurance\n\nHealth Savings Account (HSA) & Flexible Spending Account (FSA)\n\nLife insurance\n\nPaid time off\n\nProfessional development assistance\n\nEmployee Assistance Program (EAP)\n\nRetirement plan\n\nRelocation assistance\n\nAegis Power Systems, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer.\n\nWe celebrate diversity and are committed to fostering an inclusive workplace for all employees.
