This role involves supporting systems engineering, software integration, configuration management, and cybersecurity activities across the PM TCE portfolio. The ideal candidate will have experience in Department of Defense (DoD) acquisition programs and a strong understanding of secure software development practices.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nSupport the development, review, and delivery of Systems Engineering Plans and related documentation.\nParticipate in Configuration Management activities including Engineering Change Proposals and Configuration Audits.\nAssist in the preparation and execution of System Engineering Technical Reviews (SETRs).\nProvide technical input for Requirements Traceability Matrices (RTMs) and system specifications.\nSupport integration planning and system architecture analysis.\nAssist in the development and maintenance of technical documentation including Interface Control Documents and Software Requirements Specifications.\nSupport cybersecurity activities including RMF documentation, vulnerability assessments, and compliance with DoD cybersecurity policies.\nCoordinate with stakeholders to ensure software systems meet operational requirements and security standards.\nParticipate in technical working groups and provide engineering support for test events and system evaluations.\nSupport the development of safety documentation and coordination with the MCSC Safety Office.\n\nResponsibilities:\nRequired Qualifications:\n\nU.S. Citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain the required security clearance.\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.\n1 to 3 years of experience in software engineering and systems integration.\n8 years of experience in software engineering and systems integration preferredd for senior role.\nExperience supporting DoD acquisition programs and familiarity with DoD 5000 series and RMF.\nKnowledge of configuration management tools such as CMPRO or Jira.\nAbility to obtain and maintain a Common Access Card (CAC) and meet MCEN access requirements.\n\nRequired Skills\n\nProficiency in software development languages such as Python, C++, or Java.\nExperience with software architecture, system integration, and interface design.\nFamiliarity with MIL-STD documentation and DoD software engineering standards.\nStrong understanding of cybersecurity principles and secure coding practices.\nExperience with RMF, STIGs, ACAS scans, and cybersecurity documentation.\nExcellent communication, documentation, and collaboration skills.\n\nBenefits:\nRivet offers a comprehensive benefits package including a liberal vacation plan, a matching retirement program, and competitive salaries commensurate with skills and experience.
