This role also represents The Warren Center within the community and helps expand awareness of the organization’s mission.\n\nESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES\nTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the following satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.\nCoordinate and manage volunteer engagement efforts, including recruitment, onboarding, scheduling, communication, and stewardship of individual and corporate volunteer groups and serving as the primary point of contact\nManage a portfolio of annual giving donors, cultivating relationships, stewarding existing gifts, and soliciting annual philanthropic support\nAssist in planning and executing fundraising and friend-raising events including managing invitation lists, RSVPs, guest registration, and day-of logistics\nRepresent The Warren Center at community networking events, chamber meetings, and outreach opportunities to increase visibility and build relationships\nCultivate and maintain relationships with community partners, corporate contacts, and local organizations\nSupport sponsorship outreach efforts and assist with fulfillment of sponsor benefits\nAssist with donor stewardship efforts including preparation of acknowledgement letters and follow-up communications\nHelp prepare materials for donor meetings and assemble presentations for Advancement Committee members and staff\nWork collaboratively with the marketing team\nAssist in tracking volunteer engagement metrics and community outreach efforts\nProvide administrative assistance to the fundraising team in order to facilitate meeting proposal and report deadlines and the timely production of correspondence\nADDITIONAL TECHNICAL SKILLS, TRAITS AND KNOWLEDGE\nTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each qualification satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.\nHigh energy and passion for The Warren Center’s mission is essential\nAbility to work effectively with a wide range of staff, Board leadership, volunteers, donors and the public\nAbility to maintain the highest level of discretion and confidentiality with sensitive donor information\nClear and concise communication skills\nProfessional, dependable, and proactive\nAbility to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment\nTeam player who will productively engage with others at varying levels of seniority within and outside The Warren Center\nStrong organizational and time management skills with exceptional attention to detail\nAdvanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite: including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, OneDrive, and Teams\nEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE\nRequired: Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent\nPreferred: Minimum three (2) years in an advancement or development office\nRequired: Proven track record of managing relationships with key stakeholders and donors\nPreferred: Knowledge of Bloomerang or similar donor database and prospect research tools\nEnvironment\nThe physical requirements and work environment characteristics described here are representative of those employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
