The Senior Program Manager will be responsible for supporting the UMCS portfolio and the Critical Infrastructure Director in ensuring customer delivery, quality, cost controls, safety, people management, and overall contract execution. The Senior Program Manager will also be responsible for supporting the strategic goals of the business unit, aligning with customer requirements, and overseeing multiple projects. Key responsibilities include ensuring customer satisfaction, driving business growth, supporting and leading projects, and ensuring successful management of the portfolio.\nRoles and Responsibilities\nWork with customer focal points to drive daily tactical activities.\nDevelop strong customer relationship with client and ensure customer satisfaction across all programs.\nDevelop and execute corrective action plans when necessary.\nApply best practices for operational excellence across all contract requirements and initiatives.\nPosition will supervise direct report employees.\nCoordinate with project/program managers, develop and track key performance indicators, analyze variances and develop recovery plans, RAIL tracking, and get-well plans when required.\nSupport all business development initiatives to include organic growth and new ventures.\nProvide operational level leadership and input into the proposal process, to include pre-bid, proposal development, and post-award activities.\nEnsure all programs meet contract requirements and deliverables.\nOrganize and lead Quarterly Business Reviews, Monthly Performance Reviews, and Voice of Customer discussions with our clients.\nInteract with and coordinate functional team, to include Contracts, Project Controls, Subcontracts/Procurement, Legal, Small Business, HR, Safety, and Quality,\nImplement technology improvements such as automation and artificial intelligence (AI) where applicable.\nCoordinate and develop process improvement initiatives and portfolio projects.\nMust be willing to travel around 25% of the time.\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills.\nExcellent presentation skills\nBasic Qualifications\nBachelor of Science in the engineering field or bachelor’s in business from an accredited university with at least 12 years relevant experience in the UMCS/ESS/FAS/SCADA technology field, including five (5) years of experience in a management or supervisory capacity and five (5) years in the functional area of the program to be managed.\nPrevious experience managing over 20 employees.\nSecret clearance or ability to obtain a Secret clearance within six months of hire.\nU.S. Citizenship Status required due to client requirement.\nPreferred Qualifications\nPMP certification\nExperience in Electronic Security Systems (ESS) field\nExperience working with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers\nExperience providing operations support into firm fix priced, cost plus, and other type contract bids.\nExperience working with Senior Leadership.\nExperience working with Technical Content.\nBenefits:\nKBR offers a selection of competitive lifestyle benefits which could include a 401K plan with company match, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, AD&D, flexible spending account, disability, paid time off, or flexible work schedule.
