Together, we work towards a unified goal of helping millions of Americans achieve aspirations of homeownership through the complete mortgage journey\nA Typical Day:\nThe Modifications Processor will assist with entry level processing, completion and post modification tasks associated with mortgage loan modifications (FHA, Conventional, USDA, VA, Private).\n\nThe Modifications Processor will:\n\nUtilize various systems, both internal and external to aid in the processing and closing of a loan modification\nPrepare files according to internal, investor, federal or state guidelines\nCheck files for accuracy, including files that require special handling (bankruptcy, litigation, foreclosure)\nShip various modification documents via FedEx or regular mail\nReceive, log, and verifying incoming correspondence\nClear conditions and ready transactions for modification loan closing\nEnsure accurate closing and recording of loan modifications\nEscalate any issues that impact a loan modification transaction\nPerform other related duties as required and assigned\nDemonstrate behaviors which are aligned with the organization’s desired culture and values\nWhat You’ll Bring:\nHigh School Diploma / GED\n3+ years of relevant work experience\nKnowledge of federal and state laws pertaining to the mortgage-banking industry\nExpertise in and experience providing value-added customer service in a fast-paced environment\nExperience using automated financial and/or loan tracking systems\nMust be highly proficient in Excel and Word\nWhy You Should Join:\nAs one of the top mortgage lenders in the country, Pennymac has helped over 4 million lifetime homeowners achieve and sustain their aspirations of home.
