In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records while identifying and resolving discrepancies. This position offers opportunities for growth and development within the organization.Responsibilities:- Prepare and post journal entries to maintain accurate financial records.- Reconcile and manage the general ledger to ensure all accounts are balanced and up to date.- Oversee accounts payable processes, including verifying, coding, and processing invoices.- Manage payroll operations independently, ensuring timely and accurate disbursements.- Analyze financial statements to identify trends, discrepancies, or potential red flags.- Collaborate with the Controller to address and resolve financial issues as needed.- Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.- Support the implementation of improvements to accounting processes and systems to enhance efficiency.Requirements - Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field is required.- A minimum of 3 years of accounting experience with a focus on detail-oriented tasks.- Proficiency in managing journal entries and maintaining general ledger accounts.- Hands-on experience with accounts payable processes and payroll systems.- Strong analytical skills to interpret financial statements and identify discrepancies.- Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with team members.- Familiarity with financial regulations and compliance standards.Robert Half is the world's first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
