We need a Senior DevSecOps Engineer with on-prem and cloud expertise to support efforts to manage our new infrastructure platform. This is an award-winning team that enjoys unleashing the power of technology for intelligence professionals and warfighters.\n\nResponsibilities:\n\nLeverage OpenShift and Kubernetes to configure, monitor, and maintain this private cloud environment\nCreate and maintain automated, repeatable environment creation and configuration (Infrastructure as Code) scripts using ansible, chef, or similar tools\nCreate and maintain automated DevSecOps pipelines using leading open-source offerings, including ArgoCD, GitLab, SonarQube, Cucumber, JMeter, and Cypress.io\nMonitor, Predict, Update, and Resolve issues at all levels, from bare-metal operating systems to deployed applications\nOversee and manage compliance to ATO accreditation needs with tuning, patching or documentation.\nCommunicate with multidisciplinary SAFe Agile teams and articulate technical concepts and ideas effectively.\n\nMinimum Qualifications:\n\nMust be a U.S. Citizen with an active TS/SCI with CI poly (or willingness to obtain a CI poly).\nBachelor’s degree with 14 years of total professional experience in a technical support role (additional years of experience can be substituted in lieu of a degree).\nDemonstrated technical experience with DevSecOps and strong Linux experience.\nOpen source and custom application deployments and maintenance experience.\nCapable of working effectively with a geographically distributed ops & development team\nCommunicate effectively with customers and team in written and oral forums\nWillingness to work 90% or as needed in a SCIF environment in Herndon, VA.\n\nDesired Qualifications:\n\nExperience with:\nHardware and software sustainment with IC and DoD networks.\nDistributed processing methods and tools, such as REST APIs, microservices, IaaS/PaaS services.\nDeveloping and deploying web services\nWorking with open-source resources in a government computing environment\nMaintaining backend GIS technologies\nICD 503\nBig data technologies such as ElasticSearch, Accumulo, Spark, Hive, or Hadoop\nFamiliarity with:\nHybrid cloud/on-prem architecture, RedHat, AWS, C2S, and OpenShift.\nConcepts such as Data visualization; Data management, Data integration, User Interfaces, Databases\nCompTIA Security+ or comparable certification for privileged user access.\nExperience in/or supporting military/intelligence or knowledge of some TCPED systems is a plus!\n\n#cjpost\n\n#LI-RD\n\n#LI-Onsite\n\nPay Transparency: In support of pay transparency at Vantor, we disclose salary ranges on all U.S. job postings.
