Our primary objective is to design exceptional products that drive the evolution of computing experiences, serving as the cornerstone for enterprise Data Centers, (AI) Artificial Intelligence, HPC and Embedded systems. If this resonates with you, come and joining our Data Center GPU organization where we are building amazing AI powered products with amazing people.\n\nTHE ROLE:\nSr. Customer Program Manager for AMD’s Datacenter GPU and Accelerated Computing engineering team. There are two variations of this role:\n\nSuccessful applicants with a strong hardware background will work with AMD's customers, hardware engineers, software developers and business development teams to bring life the world's fastest servers for artificial intelligence and high- performance computing. You will be responsible for planning, driving, and reporting on joint product development and deployment with top customers.\n\nSuccessful applicants with a strong software background will work with a team of AMD software engineers to understand critical end customer workloads, triage incoming issues, and drive optimizations and bug fixes to provide a performant and stable experience.\n\nTHE PERSON:\nStrong communication skills, from executive-level status reporting to working level technical discussions.\nStrong technical program management skills with a proven track record of delivering complex programs.\nAbility to get results in a large, matrixed organization.\n\nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES:\nBuild and lead program core teams.\nReport execution status to executives, customers, and co-workers.\nMake critical customer communications.\nFacilitate closure of complex issues requiring multi-party alignment of AMD teams, customers, and partners.\nManage and handle issues and escalations with a sense of urgency.\nAvailability for discussions with coworkers and customers in other time zones.\nOccasional travel.\nPREFERRED EXPERIENCE:\nConsistent record leading and successfully delivering medium-to-large tech programs.\nBuilding and leading cross-functional core teams.\nBuilding and managing relationships with customers or partners.\nUtilization of modern program management and issue tracking tools.\nUnderstanding of server architecture, server software and HPC/AI workloads.\nSolid years of relevant work experience.\nACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:\n\nDegree in electrical engineering, computer science, or similar preferred.\nPMP certification is a plus, but not required.\nLOCATION:\nSeattle WA area but possibly open to other locations\n\n#LI-EV1\n#LI-HYBRID\nQualifications:\nAt AMD, your base pay is one part of your total rewards package. Your base pay will depend on where your skills, qualifications, experience, and location fit into the hiring range for the position. You may be eligible for incentives based upon your role such as either an annual bonus or sales incentive.
