A school district in Lawrence, KS is seeking a motivated Speech-Language Pathologist Clinical Fellow (SLP-CF) for the upcoming school year. This is a strong opportunity to complete your Clinical Fellowship in a supportive, collaborative school environment with structured supervision.Position OverviewFull-time, Monday-Friday (35-40 hours/week)Onsite role serving PreK-12 students (assignment based on district needs)Supervision provided by a licensed SLP for CF completionFull school year contract with potential for renewalCaseload DetailsAverage caseload: 40-60 students (varies by building)Students with mild to moderate communication needsAreas of service include:Articulation & phonological disordersReceptive/expressive language delaysSocial/pragmatic communication needsFluency and voice disordersPossible exposure to:Autism spectrum disordersAAC/assistive technology usersEarly childhood and elementary populationsResponsibilities:Conduct evaluations and re-evaluationsDevelop and implement IEP goalsProvide direct therapy (individual and small group)Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teamsMaintain documentation and complianceKansas State Requirements (SLP-CF)Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited programEligibility for Kansas Department of Education Speech-Language Pathologist licensure/certification through the Kansas State Department of EducationLicensure through the Kansas Department for Aging and Disability Services (professional SLP credentialing body)Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship (CF) under a licensed SLPPassing the Praxis exam typically required for full certification/licensureRequired background checks (state and federal fingerprinting clearance)What We're Looking ForStrong communication and organizational skillsPassion for working with school-aged childrenAbility to collaborate within a multidisciplinary teamCommitment to completing Clinical Fellowship requirements
