Local CDL Class A Truck Driver/ Shipping & Receiving

Job Description We are seeking a motivated and dependable Local CDL Class A Truck Driver with at least 2 years experience. In this role, you will operate to transport freight efficiently and safely within local routes. You will also oversee the loading and unloading of shipments, ensuring accurate delivery and receipt of goods.ResponsibilitiesCDL A License with Minimum 2 Years of experienceSafely operate our semi for local deliveries.Load and unload freight using forklifts, ensuring proper handling and securement of cargo.Drive predefined routes efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.Verify shipment accuracy upon delivery or receipt, inspecting freight for damage or discrepancies.Manage shipping documentation, including bills of lading, delivery receipts, and load manifests.Maintain cleanliness and routine inspections of the truck to ensure optimal performance and safety standards.Communicate effectively with dispatchers, warehouse staff, and customers to coordinate deliveries and pickups promptly.RequirementsValid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A with a clean driving record.2 Years of Driving ExperienceExperience with freight load & unload procedures using forklifts.Knowledge of safety protocols related to commercial driving and freight handling.Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for documentation accuracy.
