We believe in high expectations, a supportive environment, and providing every teacher with the tools to succeed.Position OverviewWe are seeking a dynamic and passionate social studies and science elementary school teacher to join our team for the 26-27 school year. The ideal candidate will be committed to academic excellence and student growth, bring creativity to their instruction, and foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment.Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver engaging and standards-based instruction Develop and implement lesson plans that reflect student needs and curriculum goals Establish a classroom culture that promotes learning, respect, and high expectations Communicate regularly with families regarding student progress and classroom activities Assess and track student performance; provide feedback and intervention as needed Collaborate with colleagues, support staff, and school leadership Participate in professional development sessions and school-wide initiatives Support school events, field trips, and community-building activities Complete administrative responsibilities including attendance, grading, and lesson planning Adhere to all school, district, and network policies and procedures Required QualificationsValid New Jersey CE, CEAS, or Standard teaching certification (or eligibility for certification) Must pass a criminal history background check Bachelors degree or higher in a relevant fieldCompensation & BenefitsCompetitive salary range: $60,000 $80,000, commensurate with experience Additional bonuses can include Signing, Performance, and Retention incentives Comprehensive benefits package, including:Health, dental, and vision insurance Life insurance NJ State Pension Plan Flexible spending account (FSA) Professional development support, including access to a lesson plan repository Teacher referral programExtended time off for the Thanksgiving and winter breaks Performance EvaluationStaff are evaluated under the Achieve NJ Teacher Evaluation system, which includes:Teacher Practice Student Achievement Student Growth Percentiles (when applicable) Supervision[For classroom-based roles]: Supervision of students, paraprofessionals, and volunteersDesired Skills & AttributesStrong communication and collaboration skills Passion for educational equity and high academic standards Commitment to continuous professional growth Ability to build strong relationships with students and families Flexibility and a solutions-oriented mindset
