This position will support Fab 4 maintenance of semiconductor manufacturing equipment. Must practice excellent trouble-shooting methods and be able to work effectively in a team environment. This position is on the front night compressed work week shift (Sun, Mon, Tue, every other Sat, 6:15 PM to 6:30 AM).\n\nEssential Functions\n\nRepair and Maintain LAM, Tel and AMAT Etch systems.\n\nRepair and Maintain Novellus & Mattson Strip systems.\n\nTrouble-shoot electronic, electrical and mechanical problems.\n\nRead and interpret mechanical prints and electrical/electronic schematics.\n\nWork with systems containing radiation, electrical, mechanical, liquid and gas hazards.\n\nPractice effective and productive written and verbal communication.\n\nDocument work in maintenance logs effectively.\n\nFollow procedures and instructions.\n\nAble to contribute as a reliable and effective team member with minimal supervision.\n\nRequirements/Qualifications:\n\nRequired Qualifications\n\nAA degree in a technical field\nOr equivalent semiconductor industry experience, military training or technical degree.\n\n5+ years of experience in Etch equipment maintenance.\n\nSolid organizational, documentation and writing skills.\n\nCreative problem-solving and decision-making skills.\n\nSelf-directed, self-motivated.\n\nProficient with MS Office products.\n\nPreferred Qualifications\n\nAdditional experience in other fab maintenance areas.\n\nSpecial Requirements\n\nParticipation as an active member of the Fab 4 ERT (Emergency Response Team).\n\nAbility to meet the requirements of the ERT physical.\n\nMust pass a physical, fit test and medical clearance for the usage of a tight-fitting respirator (SCBA full face mask level).\n\nMust maintain physical requirements for wearing SCBA full face mask level.\n\nMust be able and willing to travel for training purposes.\n\nCritical Physical Requirements\n\nAble to lift, push, pull approx. 50 lbs; carry 50 lbs; sit 5%; stand 60%; walk 35%; must be able to perform activities that include climbing, bending at waist, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, crawling, handling, feeling, hearing, talking, seeing.
