Our vision is to foster an environment that promotes inspired and empowered team members who make an impact.\r\nThe Associate Project Manager is accountable for project/s deliverables from conception through to completion, including quality assurance, risk assessment, milestone deliverables, forecasting, managing scope creep within scope the defined scope from the client delivered on time and on budget. The Project Manager will have direct communication with the client and be responsible for meeting client expectations.\r\nDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES\r\nCoordinate and lead internal resources, set expectations and priorities, determine metrics, obtain deliverables and achieve milestones.\r\nLiaise directly with clients or Client Manager and provide reports, updates and solutions.\r\nSupport development of project messaging for stakeholders, including landowners and communities.\r\nManage detailed tracking and communication of project progress from a task, time, schedule, and cost perspective.\r\nEnsure all client deliverables are completed and delivered on schedule.\r\nFollow all Canacre's established best practices and procedures for project management.\r\nReview client deliverables to ensure quality.\r\nIdentify and provide project details for tracking purposes.\r\nHost weekly or biweekly meetings with the client and internal project team to review progress, concerns, updates, schedule and deliverables.\r\nUpdate senior management and the project team on changes in scope, status of the project and schedule changes/expectations.\r\nIdentify project risks, establish solutions and elevate accordingly within Internal Management.\r\nManage changes in project scopes, identifies solutions for potential issues and devises contingency plans as required, while engaging the appropriate resources.\r\nIdentify change orders, generate necessary documentation and negotiate such change orders with the client.\r\nApprove expenses and monitor timesheets/budgets.\r\nEnsure safety and training requirements are met and in place to meet client expectations.\r\nWork with Business Development to identify opportunities for additional business opportunities with current and potential clients.\r\nMaintain relationships and coordinates with third parties, such as sub-contractors, strategic partners, or vendors.\r\nPerform other duties as required.\r\nQUALIFICATIONS\r\nEducation\r\nPost-secondary degree in Biology, Engineering, Geology, Environmental Science, Project management or Business.\r\nExperience\r\n3-5 years professional services consulting experience, working with external clients\r\n2+ years' experience in management role\r\nExperience with environmental permitting and construction compliance\r\nKnowledge/Skills\r\nA proven track record in project planning, executing, managing and closing on projects.\r\nA proven track record of delivering projects within scope, on time and on budget.\r\nAbility to manage, mentor and lead others.\r\nAbility to run meetings and effectively capture decisions and actions.\r\nAbility to manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously with minimal supervision.\r\nDetail-oriented, self-motivated and highly organized with strong problem solving skills.\r\nAbility to build strong, lasting relationships with key stakeholders.\r\nWorking knowledge of Microsoft Office.\r\nCanacreoffers comprehensive health and dental coverage, paid time off, and disability insurance.
