Join us to make legends happen!\r\nESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES\r\nMaintain facility within appropriate discipline (Housekeeping).\r\nProvide preventative and corrective maintenance.\r\nUnload, move, stack, load build and set material, equipment, or supplies.\r\nRespond to routine and emergency calls and make necessary repairs.\r\nProvide event related maintenance, services, and support.\r\nConduct regular inspections of work spaces to ensure proper housekeeping, safety and compliance exists for the protection of health, safety and rights of employees and the public.\r\nAll other duties as assigned.\r\nQUALIFICATIONS\r\nMust have overall understanding and experience in facility management, event industry experience preferred.\r\nMust have attention to detail, ability to work independently with little supervision with good organizational skills to productively produce results and handle tasks as assigned in a timely manner.\r\nMust be able to adapt to changes in the work environment, managing competing demands, frequent changes, delays or unexpected events.\r\nMust have strong interpersonal skills, positive attitude and be results driven.\r\nExcellent customer service skills are a must as the position requires frequent interaction with customers, vendors, and visitors to the facilities.\r\nMust have and maintain a valid driver's license and meet the City's driving requirements for City equipment.\r\nEDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE\r\nHigh school diploma or GED preferred.\r\nCOMPENSATION\r\nCompetitive salary, commensurate with experience, and a generous benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, paid vacation, and 401k plan.\r\nPHYSICAL DEMANDS\r\nPersonal mobility with the ability to get in and around the facility and must have the ability to move quickly from one area to another.\r\nPerform manual labor which includes regular ability to lift and hold at least 50 pounds.\r\nRequires dexterity and ability to use hands and fingers to operate basic tools and equipment.\r\nAbility to reach with hands and arms.\r\nInvolved prolonged periods of walking, standing, bending, kneeling, stooping, or sitting.\r\nInvolves walking, climbing (inclusive of ladders over 10' tall).\r\nAbility to clearly hear voices, alarms, bells, and horns (at a minimum of 85 dB) and ability to speak clearly and audibly.\r\nAbility to understand and follow simple directions communicated both orally and written.\r\nAbility to read basic written correspondence, plans, diagrams, or gauges.\r\nAbility to use common hand tools consistent with and appropriate to the task at hand.\r\nAbility to visually inspect and to distinguish colors.\r\nMust be able to operate equipment such as light trucks, pallet jacks, forklifts, scrubbers, sweepers, and other light power-driven equipment.\r\nNOTE\r\nThe essential responsibilities of this position are described under the headings above.
