Candidates must be adept at leveraging AI coding assistants (e.g., Claude, Amazon Q Developer) to accelerate delivery, while applying strict human oversight to validate, secure, and maintain complex enterprise code. Candidate should have experience in designing and writing AI modelsKey ResponsibilitiesWrite, review, and refactor Java (Spring Boot) back-end and Angular 21 front-end code.Use AI tools to generate boilerplate, write unit tests, and perform application modernization tasks.Ensure AI-generated outputs strictly adhere to security, AWS cloud architecture, and PostgreSQL database standards.Manually review, debug, and optimize code to prevent integration issues and low-quality abstractions.The position would be located at a government facility in Chantilly, VA and require work to be performed onsite. Any hybrid work schedule would require customer approval. The government has established policies for on-site vs hybrid work which varies across divisions and contracts. Where allowed, remote work must be coordinated with the team lead and/or government POC, ensuring there is zero interruption with the delivery of our services.The annual base salary range for this position is $110,000 - $142,000.
