Commercial Concrete Estimator

Job Description We are a small growing commercial concrete contractor specializing in foundations and structural concrete for large-scale projects, including office buildings, retail centers, and multi-family developments.We are looking for a hands-on, detail-driven Commercial Concrete Estimator who understands both the field and the numbers – someone who can turn plans into accurate, competitive bids and help drive profitable projects.Why This Role MattersThis is not just a desk job. If your numbers are right, everyone wins.Key Responsibilities· Analyze plans, specifications, and scope to prepare accurate concrete estimates· Perform quantity take-offs for foundations, slabs, and structural components· Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier pricing· Visit job sites to understand real-world conditions (access, soil, logistics)· Build competitive bids with clear scope, exclusions, and clarifications· Work closely with project managers, supers, and field teams· Support project handoff from estimating to operations· Assist with change orders and cost updates during construction· Track budgets and help maintain profitability across projectsWhat We're Looking For5+ years of estimating experience in concrete commercial/public works projectsStrong understanding of foundations, slabs, paving, site concrete, structural concrete, and rebar takeoffsAbility to read and interpret civil and structure plans and specs without constant supervisionAdvance Excel and estimating softwareBilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferredSolid math skills and attention to detailExperience preparing bids from $250k -$5M+Able to work under pressure and hit deadlinesTeam player with strong communication skillsHigh level of integrity and accountabilityBonus If You HaveExperience in the Dallas construction marketRelationships with local subs and suppliersField experience (this is a big advantage)What You GetStable, full-time positionOpportunity to grow with a solid, expanding companyDirect impact on projects and company successFast-paced environment where your work actually mattersScheduleMonday to Friday (Full-time)BenefitsPay: $65,000 - $90,000 per year based on experiencePaid holidaysPaid vacation timeWork LocationIn personCompany Description We are a small, growing commercial construction company based in Balch Springs, Texas.
