The Engineer is an active participant in SAFe and Scrum development teams and meetings.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nAutomate and optimize service deployments.\n\nIntegrate with enterprise authentication services.\n\nEstablish and improve system monitoring while maintaining security protocols across development, test, and production systems.\n\nArchitect, build, and maintain on‑premise and/or cloud infrastructure to support team and customer initiatives.\n\nMaintain and improve existing infrastructure, including autoscaling, new services, and cost efficiencies.\n\nAdminister production, staging, and development environments.\n\nManage and aggregate server logs; monitor for security and system‑related incidents.\n\nMonitor and analyze system performance such as server load and resource usage.\n\nMaintain and improve CI/CD build and deployment processes.\n\nApply configuration management disciplines to maintain software revisions, security patches, hardening, and documentation.\n\nEnforce best practices for security and reliability; drive security initiatives such as access control and vulnerability testing.\n\nWork with A&A teams to maintain security requirements for system operation.\n\nMaintain up‑to‑date documentation of designs/configurations for continuity of recurring tasks.\n\nMaintain operational status at all times: perform after‑action reporting on outages; work with engineering teams to determine solutions and root cause analysis; present findings to management.\n\nCreate and determine required metrics for dashboards and service health.\n\nFollow up on engineering tasks for operational solutions and validate completion.\n\nManage the operational readiness board; present at weekly meetings and determine if development services are ready for automation based on best practices and maintainability.\n\nTrack and ensure routine operations maintenance tasks are completed in a timely manner.\n\nAlign with the customer's strategies; utilize the customer's enterprise DevSecOps pipeline; work with other service providers to support areas of common interest.\n\nRequired Skills and Experience\n\nEducation: Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science.\n\nExperience: 8+ years of related experience; 3+ years of related systems programming experience.\n\nTechnical skills: understanding of GitLab, Jenkins, ArgoCD, and other DevOps/CI tools; microservice design and architectural pattern best practices; Python, Bash, and Shell scripting.\n\nExperience maintaining an operational environment and using monitoring tools and dashboard interfaces (Kibana, Grafana, Nagios).\n\nExperience with container images and platforms (Kubernetes/Docker/OpenShift).\n\nExperience building processes for deploying to a Kubernetes‑based environment using GitLab and Helm.\n\nExperience using Jira and Confluence daily.\n\nExperience deploying to on‑prem/data‑center infrastructure (VPN, etc.).\n\nSecurity clearance level: Must be able to obtain TS/SCI with Polygraph.
