The ideal candidate has strong mechanical aptitude, can accurately interpret engineering drawings and assembly documentation, and takes pride in building precision machinery that meets our high standards of quality and craftsmanship.\nThis position works closely with Engineering, Electrical Assembly, and Quality teams to ensure machines are built correctly, tested thoroughly, and delivered on schedule.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities\nAssemble industrial machinery according to engineering drawings, bills of material (BOMs), and work instructions.\nInstall mechanical components including bearings, shafts, gearboxes, conveyors, motors, pneumatic systems, and other machine assemblies.\nRead and interpret blueprints, mechanical drawings, and assembly schematics.\nPerform precision alignment and fitting of machine components.\nUse hand tools, power tools, measuring instruments, and shop equipment safely and effectively.\nVerify dimensions and tolerances using calipers, tape measures, levels, and other precision measuring tools.\nIdentify and resolve mechanical assembly issues while maintaining quality standards.\nPerform machine testing, adjustments, and troubleshooting before final inspection.\nWork collaboratively with Engineering and Electrical Assembly to resolve design or production issues.\nMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work area while following all company safety procedures.\nDocument completed work and report any quality concerns or discrepancies.\nAssist with continuous improvement initiatives and process enhancements.\nPerform other duties as assigned.\nQualifications\nRequired\nHigh school diploma or GED.\nMinimum of 3 years of mechanical assembly or machine building experience.\nAbility to read and interpret mechanical drawings and assembly instructions.\nStrong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.\nExperience using standard hand and power tools.\nAbility to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.\nStrong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.\nAbility to work independently and as part of a team.\nGood communication and problem-solving skills.\nPreferred\nExperience building custom industrial machinery.\nExperience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems.\nWelding or fabrication experience is a plus.\nForklift certification (or willingness to obtain).\nLean Manufacturing or 6S experience.\nPhysical Requirements\nFrequently stand, walk, bend, kneel, and reach throughout the workday.\nRegularly lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.\nOccasionally lift over 50 pounds with assistance.\nAbility to work around moving machinery and manufacturing equipment.\nAbility to use hand and power tools for extended periods.\nWork Environment\nManufacturing environment with exposure to noise, moving equipment, and industrial machinery.\nRequired use of personal protective equipment (PPE), including safety glasses, hearing protection, and safety shoes.\nRegular overtime may be required based on production demands.\nWhat We Offer\nCompetitive hourly pay\nMedical, Dental, and Vision Insurance\nHealth Savings Account (HSA)\nCompany-paid Life Insurance\nCompany-paid Short-Term and Long-Term Disability\n401(k) with Company Match and Safe Harbor Contribution\nPaid Time Off and Paid Holidays\nEmployee Assistance Program (EAP)\nTraining and career development opportunities\nWhy Join Timesavers LLC?\nFor over 75 years, Timesavers has been a leader in designing and manufacturing industrial sanding and finishing equipment.
