May be assigned all or some of the various warehouse job functions including but not limited to receiving, order fulfillment, product picking, wrapping and packing, stock replenishment, customer will call, and inventory cycle counts. This role is also responsible for driving, route sequencing, order verification, loading and unloading orders into company/customer vehicle, return service, sharing feedback from customers, as well as maintenance, upkeep, and repairs of the company vehicles and warehouse equipment. The Material Handler/Driver position is required to possess a valid drivers’ license at all times and must meet all state and federal driving regulations.\n\nOperates basic power equipment (i.e. electric pallet, walkie rider, sit-down forklift) in a safe and efficient manner to locate, put away, stack, and move checked-in products to correct storage locations on a daily basis. This includes stocking, filling bin boxes, facing cartons, checking for product mixing, and rotating product where needed; monitoring stock on shelves or bins; replenishing stock from reserves; maintaining control of products in reserve stock area or will call area.\nReceives product by unloading trucks using forklift, pallet jack, electric pallet jack, or by hand.\nEnsures shipments received are in good condition and accurate by: inspecting freight for damage and signing freight bills; verifying quantity ordered versus quantity received; checking all shipments against packing lists; and completing necessary paperwork for reimbursements or discrepancies.\nEnsures all required products have verified bar code labels and readable Johnstone stock numbers by scanning products, printing labels, resolving labeling discrepancies, and completing necessary paperwork.\nFills orders by picking, packing items into cartons, and stacking them in a manner that minimizes damage, entering items into scan gun, and completing necessary paperwork.\nDocuments the shipment of hazardous materials by labeling cartons correctly and completing necessary paperwork.\nPrepares orders by: preparing trucks for shipments; palletizing and wrapping orders; loading pallets and pieces into trucks; placing packing list in last skid; and completing necessary paperwork.\nMaintains current accuracy and efficiency standards and follows all standard operating procedures.\nParticipates in inventory cycle counts and other related projects in current location and/or the market as assigned.\nAssists in the maintenance and upkeep of all warehouse machinery and equipment.\nMaintains a safe work environment by working in a safe manner, following safety rules, and maintaining a clean work area.
