Sandwich Shop Crew MemberEngage with Melty guests, guide them through the ordering process and make sure they are thrilled with their "memorable" experience. Make every order a masterpiece in both look and taste. Handle some opening and closing duties.Responsibilities:Warmly greet and engage each guestAssist guest in selection processResponsible for accurate cashing, including opening and closing accounting dutiesEnter orders into the point of sale (POS) system, collect payment, provide correct change, etc.Have basic understanding of cooking and serving food, and can read and follow basic recipes and proceduresMeasure and assemble ingredients to create melt sandwiches, sauces, sides and dessertsHave ability to operate and/or familiarity working with food slicer and kitchen knifeEmbrace and promote all facets of Melty PrinciplesExhibit job and product knowledge to accurately support all functions at a Melty restaurantQualifications:No prior experience or training necessaryPrevious guest service and/or food & beverage experience preferredMust be 16 years of age or olderReliable transportation or reliable use of public transportationMust have or obtain a current Food Handlers Permit within 30 days of employmentCompany Overview:Melty is looking for dynamic people to engage with our guests and create and serve our amazing melts!
