Candidates must be able to work onsite as part of a hybrid schedule in Chesterfield.\n\n*What You’ll Do*\n\n* Design and develop applications using *TypeScript, Node.js, and React*\n* Develop software that interfaces with automated machinery and research systems\n* Design relational databases and develop complex SQL queries\n* Design and develop JSON APIs\n* Gather and translate requirements from end users\n* Perform application development, debugging, testing, implementation, support, and enhancements\n* Participate in product design and technical specification discussions\n* Analyze test results and troubleshoot application issues\n* Work with cross-functional technical and research teams\n\n*Required Qualifications*\n\n* 5+ years of professional programming, database design, or server administration experience\n* 2+ years of professional *JavaScript/TypeScript* development experience\n* Strong *Node.js* development experience\n* Experience developing applications with *React*\n* Strong SQL query development skills\n* Relational database design experience\n* Experience designing and developing *JSON APIs / REST APIs*\n* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a similar technical discipline\n* Strong written and verbal communication skills\n* Ability to work onsite in Chesterfield, MO as part of a hybrid schedule\n\n*Preferred*\n\n* Git source control\n* GitHub Actions\n* Docker\n* Continuous Integration / CI tools\n\nThis position works with teams in a *greenhouse environment*, and there may be exposure to elevated temperatures, humidity, and plant pollen.
