This role serves as a dedicated technical resource within the infrastructure team, partnering closely with Cyber Security, Infrastructure, Application, and Operations teams to reduce security exposure and improve the overall security posture of the enterprise.\nThe position focuses on hands-on execution of remediation activities, secure configuration management, operating system hardening, patch management, Active Directory security improvements, and infrastructure security projects. The successful candidate must be capable of operating in a large-scale enterprise environment while balancing security requirements with operational stability and up-time expectations.\n\nQualifications and Required Skills\nBachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.\n5+ years of experience supporting enterprise server and infrastructure environments.\nStrong experience with Windows Server administration and security hardening.\nExperience with Active Directory administration, Group Policy, and privileged access management.\nExperience performing vulnerability remediation and security hardening activities.\nFamiliarity with patch management solutions such as SCCM/MECM, ManageEngine, or similar tools.\nExperience supporting VMware-based environments.\nPowerShell scripting and automation skills.\nStrong troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.\nAbility to work closely with Infrastructure and Cyber Security teams to drive remediation efforts.\nLinux administration experience.\nExperience applying CIS Benchmarks or security best practices.\nExposure to vulnerability management tools.\nAzure or hybrid cloud experience.\n\nKey Responsibilities\nExecute server and infrastructure hardening activities aligned with CIS Benchmarks, industry standards, and corporate security requirements.\nPerform vulnerability remediation across Windows Server, Linux, Active Directory, virtualization, and related infrastructure platforms.\nPartner with Cyber Security teams to evaluate vulnerabilities, prioritize remediation efforts, and drive closure of security findings.\nDeploy and maintain secure system configurations through standardization and baseline enforcement.\nIdentify, remediate, and reduce unnecessary services, ports, protocols, and privileged access across server environments.\nSupport enterprise patch management activities for operating systems and infrastructure applications.\nCollaborate with application owners and business teams to coordinate remediation efforts while minimizing operational impact.\nAssist with Active Directory security initiatives, including privilege management, group policy remediation, tiered administration, and identity security improvements.\nSupport remediation activities resulting from vulnerability assessments, penetration tests, audits, and security reviews.\nAssist with implementation of security controls and compliance-related initiatives.\nWork within VMware environments to coordinate guest OS hardening, lifecycle management, patching, and vulnerability resolution.\nDevelop automation scripts and operational efficiencies using PowerShell and other automation tools.\nMaintain accurate documentation of technical procedures, remediation activities, security configurations, and operational standards.\nParticipate in incident response activities related to server and infrastructure security events when required.\nProvide technical recommendations to improve infrastructure security, operational efficiency, and platform resilience.\nSupport additional infrastructure and security initiatives as assigned.\nWright Technical Services and our client are Equal Opportunity Employers.
