The selected candidate will work across multiple platforms and technologies, supporting modern software development efforts including backend services, microservices architectures, and web-based applications.\n\nTech(x) fosters a flexible, forward-thinking culture that values technical excellence, continuous learning, and creative problem solving.\n\nResponsibilities\nDesign, develop, test, and maintain software applications, services, and systems\nIntegrate software components into complex, distributed development environments\nSupport backend development and service-layer implementation\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to review system architecture, requirements, and code quality\nParticipate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and code reviews\nTroubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance\nContribute to technical documentation, including design artifacts and UML diagrams\nSupport database design and schema development as needed\nPerform additional duties as assigned in support of mission objectives\nAll other duties as assigned.\nQualifications\nMust be skilled in the following areas:\n\nProficiency in one or more programming languages: Java, C/C++, Python, or JavaScript\nExperience or familiarity with:\nBackend development concepts\nSoftware development across Windows, Linux, or Android environments\nWeb applications and/or microservices architectures\nStrong written and verbal communication skills\nAbility to work effectively both independently and within a team environment\nDemonstrated problem-solving ability and willingness to learn new technologiesExcellent in inter-personal communications with the team and the customers\nTeam Player, Self-Motivated, Independent worker\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience with Node.js, Vue.js, or similar frameworks\nExposure to full-stack web development\nFamiliarity with UML modeling and software design documentation\nExperience designing or working with database schemas\nPrior experience supporting DEVCOM or similar DoD environments\nUnderstanding of military systems, operations, or terminology\nActive TS/SCI clearance\n\nClearance:\n\nMust have a current DoW clearance.\n\nEducation & Experience:\n\nBachelors degree in computer science or similar.\n1-5 years of software programming experience.\n\nLocation:\n\nAberdeen Proving Grounds, Maryland.\nMonday-Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
