Construction Manager (Reno)

BESS Construction Manager | Temp-to-Hire | EPC / Industrial ProjectsI am currently recruiting for a BESS Construction Manager to support large-scale EPC and industrial construction projects.This is a temp-to-hire opportunity. Candidates must be comfortable working on-site during the temporary period, with the ability to relocate full-time if the role converts into a permanent offer.The role:You will be responsible for managing field execution across energy storage and electrical infrastructure construction, working closely with engineering, procurement, contractors, superintendents, QA/QC and safety teams.Key responsibilities:• Manage day-to-day construction activity across BESS and electrical infrastructure scopes• Coordinate subcontractors, trades and self-perform teams on site• Review drawings, work packages, schedules and construction plans• Track field progress, identify risks and drive issue resolution• Coordinate with engineering on RFIs, design changes and technical queries• Support procurement, material readiness and vendor coordination• Ensure work is delivered in line with safety, quality and project requirements• Lead site meetings, planning sessions and construction coordination• Support commissioning, turnover and close-out activitiesWhat we are looking for:• Experience in construction management, field management or site leadership• Background in BESS, electrical infrastructure, renewable energy, industrial, utility or EPC projects• Strong understanding of electrical construction, power distribution, equipment installation or site infrastructure• Ability to coordinate subcontractors, vendors and field teams• Experience reading drawings, schedules and technical specifications• Strong communication skills and ability to drive work forward on site• Comfortable working in a fast-paced construction environment• Degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related field preferred, but not essential with strong field experienceThis is a strong opportunity for a construction leader with energy, electrical or industrial project experience who is looking for a long-term role after a successful temporary engagement.Please apply with an up-to-date resume.
