Leads by example and exhibits professionalism in all areas when representing Amcor inside and outside of the plant.\nWork in a professional manner with other associates.\nMaintain a safe, clean and organized work area. Responsible for keeping colorant area clean and organized.\nClean color barrels to ensure there is nothing that could potentially contaminate the colorant.\nResponsible for prepping machines for ALL color and resin changes.\nStock machines with correct materials by reading traveler, interpreting and processing lot information and material type.\nEnsure the color barrels do not run out of colorant to prevent the machine from running off color parts.\nAssist mold technicians with color changes, getting materials such as foil or cleaner, and other tasks as needed.\nMaintain regrind when needed.\nClean up after color changes if necessary and the production floor as needed (vacuuming and sweeping).\nPick up purge from each machine daily.\nCompact cardboard.\nMust be able to log in and scan color in and out of Z00/ST00.\nTake inventory of color weekly by weighing the color with the forklift.\nMust be a certified forklift driver.\nPerform daily inspections on forklift. Turn into ISO/SQF weekly.\nAs needed, weigh color and properly label container for it to be shipped to another company or Amcor location.\nUse problem-solving skills to handle situations that may arise.\nVarious other duties as assigned.\nEDUCATIONAL, SKILL, & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:\nHigh School Diploma or equivalent.\nRegularly required to stand, sit, or walk for equal periods.\nAbility to regularly lift and/or move up to 35 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.\nForklift Certified\nFrequent exposure to production and warehouse floor; required use of PPE including but not limited to: Bump Cap, Safety Eyewear or Prescription Safety Eyewear, Safety Shoes, Hi-Viz Vest, Hearing Protection and Disposable Mask.\nMust be able to frequently lift, bend, and reach to perform necessary job functions.\nOur Expectations\nWe expect our people to be guided by The Amcor Way and demonstrate our Values every day to enable the business to win.
