About the Opportunity:The Software Engineer, I - Data Engineering will contribute to building and supporting Linux- and cloud-based data systems that handle large volumes of data from vehicle fleets and simulations. This role supports data ingestion, processing, and storage solutions that enable analytics, simulation, and machine learning training, playing a key part in delivering data infrastructure critical to the organization''s autonomous driving software development.3. Responsibilities:Develop robust pipelines to process daily data from vehicle fleets and simulationsBuild and maintain scalable data pipelines within the Data Factory for machine learning trainingExpand the data lake through distributed storage, data discovery, and acquisition of internal and external datasetsEnsure data integrity via validation, versioning, provenance, and governanceAssist in developing and delivering cloud-based data solutionsCollaborate with teams in perception, planning, control, mapping, and vehicle testingSupport cloud-based capabilities that improve software build, deployment, and testingParticipate in on-call rotation to maintain deployed systems during business hours4. Requirements:Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related fieldProficient in Python programmingExperience with Docker and containerizationCommitment to test-driven development, continuous integration and delivery, and infrastructure as codeProficient with Linux and bash scriptingExperience deploying, troubleshooting, monitoring, and maintaining Linux systems5. Pay Range and Compensation Package:Hiring range: $114,400 to $137,300 USD annually, depending on experience and skills6.
